Ridge capping is held on by mortar bedding and pointing. Both have a service life — and when they crack, the caps move, water gets under them, and one strong southerly can put tiles on your lawn.
We remove failed mortar, re-bed the caps where the bedding has gone, and finish with flexible pointing that moves with the roof instead of cracking against it. Colour matched so it looks like it belongs.
